Stroud and the Five Valleys is about to explode with events in May with Select II, Site 2012 exibitions and open studios trails in both, Nailsworth Festival, the Olympic Torch Relay coming through Stroud and Painswick on Wed 23rd May, artsAid 1st-27th May, Fairy & Wizard World 19th May at The Bird & Deer Park, Prinknash, the hanging baskets going up on shops for Stroud in Bloom later in the year, Stroud Special re-launch for this year, plus we will hear if we were successful in our bid to be a Portas Pilot.

The Summer starts here with Stroud On Water which is the main event for the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee weekend 2nd – 4th June. Plus another great month long line up at the Sub Rooms, including The Wurzels on 22nd June.

Site Festival 2012 – 1st – 31st May

The Site Festival is a contemporary arts festival, now in its 16th year which brings a full and dynamic programme of visual arts, performance, music, screenings, open studios, talks and workshops to the Stroud Valleys for the whole month of May.
